ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Agile Impact is the conference to learn about agile and digital transformation. With speakers from all over the globe sharing wisdom during the 2 days, you’ll come out more agile than you came in.

Following the success of the first Agile Indonesia conference in 2017, we have decided to broaden the theme this year. As Agile has gained more popularity in Indonesia, we will have 5 main themes in this year’s conference:

  1. Agile leadership
Leaders play a crucial role in transforming the way people think and work. To adopt agile in an organization, takes wise, dedicated leaders. In this track, experts will share what the role of leadership is in becoming an agile business.
  2. Business agility
The first wave of agile was all about the practices (scrum, kanban, etc). The second wave was about ‘scaling’ agile through an enterprise. Business agility is about moving the complete organization, across all departments towards an agile mindset and way of working.
  3. Devops
Devops is about bringing agile to the technical level; it’s about an engineering culture that combines development (dev) and operations (ops). It’s about engineering practices and adopting tools. Once teams work agile and deliver iteratively, they need technology and infrastructure to support this iterative work.
  4. Agile practices
The fundament of the agile movement are the practices. This is where people learn ‘how to do agile’. Speakers will share experiences adopting scrum, kanban and of course the fresh set of agile scaling practices like Less, Safe and others.
  5. Digital transformation
Agile transformation is about changing the way people think and work. A digital transformation builds on this new way. Teams invent and launch new products. They seek new ideas to transform traditional business models towards the digital age. Technology, internet, big data all disrupt existing businesses. To stay alive, organizations need to find the path towards digital innovation.

What is Agile ?

Agile means ‘flexibility’ & ‘adaptation’. Agile is a movement that started with the creation of the agile manifesto. Initially, it picked up among software departments. Today, Agile is not only about a different way of developing software. It is also about innovation, entrepreneurship and changing traditional organizations. Agile helps build the organizations of the future.
